Tabless Aerial Hoop (NATA Destruction Certified Only)

Description Design Components Unlike other aerial hoops, tabless aerial rings have no lifting tab or clip off point. You can use a standard sling or a silky sling to attach them to your rigging. Our solid aerial rings are made of 22mm stainless steel bar, our hollow aerial rings are made of 25mm stainless steel tube and our semi-solid aerial rings are made of 27mm stainless steel pipe. We use both the results derived from the engineer certification and the NATA destruction tests to create the ratings for these hoops, always being cautious with our recommendations. The ratings below are from a theoretical analysis and do not account for the work hardening processes (EN1993-1-4 Annex B). NATA destruction testing has proven the hoops (in particular the hollow) yield a higher MBS (minimum breaking strain) due to these work hardening processes. The NATA destruction tested only hoops meet and exceed the requirements stated in Live Performance Australia Guidelines: Safety Guidelines for the Live Entertainment and Events Industries: Event Rigging Hazard Guide (Feb 2018, p. 16). All hoops sold as NATA Destruction Certified Only (as are the ones available on this webpage) are NOT Engineer Certified.
